AcornHR Consulting is owned and managed by Mark O’Hagan.

Mark is a senior HR generalist with a strong commercial and international focus.  He has successfully applied and developed highly transferable people leadership skills across a number of industry sectors covering financial services, automotive manufacturing, logistics and telecommunications to deliver sustainable ‘bottom line’ business solutions during periods of significant change. 

Mark has good experience of developing high performing teams and has led HR across multiple UK sites and also in a number of countries including Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Poland and Hungary.  His international HR project work has also included Romania, Slovakia, Japan,  Australia and New Zealand.

He has held positions as 

• HR Director for a highly acquisitive UK financial services organisation experiencing serious cultural and post acquisition growing pains attracting adverse media coverage
• Head of European HR, for two major Japanese multinationals, reporting into Japanese MDs
• Various HR and Training Manager roles for major global retailing and telecommunications businesses.
